Ringsfield and Weston - Approx four and a half miles

Starting at Ringsfield village hall, turn right from the car park and go straight along the road over the near by crossroads, and round the bend before taking the track on the left of the Farm Engineering Works. Passing the sewage farm on the left, carry on straight ahead over the Railway line to the pit on the left, the track bends right. TAKE GREAT CARE WHEN CROSSING THE RAILWAY TRACK.

Take the footpath on your right with Walpole Hall on the left, go through the gate and bear right through a second gate, and turn left over the bridge over the 'River Hundred'. Bear sharp left and go through the gate straight ahead. Turn right following a hedge up a slight rise, go through the spinney, and onto the road, King's Lane. Turn right and follow the road, passing cottages, track and house on the left.

As you reach some houses on the right, turn left through a gate passing over a bridge across the ditch. Go straight through the field ahead to join the track and new houses on the left. Follow the track down past farm buildings to a grassy area. Go straight ahead and turn right before reaching the ditch. Cross the bridge and follow the hedge on the right to the Railway line. Cross the line (TAKE GREAT CARE) and turn left for 100 yards, then right to follow the ditch and edge of field to the road.

Turn right and follow the road around bends to pass a Flint House on the right, just afterwards take a footpath on the left over a stile, with a hedge now on the left, walk past the next field to the bridge on the left. Cross and continue with the hedge now on the right, to a path in the corner of the field. Walk to the right along a track, crossing 'Hundred River', through a gate on the left to the road at Pound Farm. Turn left and take the road back to Ringsfield Village Hall.

This walk does have some nice views, it is partly road walking, but not unpleasant.
