has a range of well maintained places to visit. The
quay is renowned, and attracts thousands of visitors.
The town centre has a traditional
market place, close to an excellent town
museum, with a large common area
providing an adequate walking area, golf club and children's
activity area.

 Most
visitors will spend much of their stay in Beccles itself,
but for those wishing there are some fine nearby
attractions. The Kessingland wildlife park is an ever
developing and popular attraction, the nationally famous
Pleasurewood hills American theme park is just a few miles
along the coast. Aldeburgh is another tranquil coastal town,
a timeless attraction remains the relaxation of boating
on the beautiful river area.
